∴ Average salary of a worker = s + 42,000

⇒ Total salary = Salary of workers + Salary of Officers
⇒ (w + o) × (s + 42000) = w × s + o × (s + 120000)
⇒ ws + 42000s + os + 42000o = w × s + os + 120000o
⇒ 42000s + 42000o = 120000o
⇒ 42000s = 78000o
⇒ s/o = 78000/42000 = 39/21 = 13/7
∴ Percentage of officers in the office = 7/(7 + 13) × 100% = 35%
